Savannah is one month old today! She is still 2 lbs 10oz. She is up to 19mls every 3 hours fed over a 30 minute period. She got moved again. She is now in bed 6- this move was to simply to make easier on the nurse who in charge of her. Bed 6 is closer to the others babies that she was in charge of. She had a brain ultrasound today and everything looks good. She is still on the nasal cannula at 4 liters.
She pulled off her nasal cannula yesterday as in ripped the whole thing off her check. It had to be retaped. Today she pulled out her feeding tube twice and it was not good because it caused her to throw up some of her milk :( They retaped tube, and anchored it differently so hopefully that will keep her from pulling it out. She's definitely a strong little girl.
I took a picture every month of Baby Kevin with his monkey. Well Savannah has a giraffe- given to by her friend (who needs to be her neighbor again) - that will be present for her monthly photos. I haven't named the giraffe yet. I'm taking suggestions :)
I miss having Savannah's friend and her mom. Please pray for her and her mom. She is having problems tolerating her feedings. We miss our friends and hope they'll be reunited soon. Please pray Savannah to continue to progress. Her first eye exam is coming up soon so please pray for good results.
