Savannah appears to be doing better today. She is tolerating the Sipap. No changes to her weight and her weight may drop during this medicine period. I got to the NICU in time for her head massage and to be able to discuss Savannah's update with her neonatologist. The good news I was able to hold her today. It was not the typically Kangaroo Carry because of the Sipap. It was a cradle carry and it required heat lamps and lots of blankets to ensure that she stayed warm. Thanks Savannah for hanging in there while I held you. :)
Please pray the PDA closes with just one round of medicine. Pray for her continued progress. Also please pray for Savannah's neighbor and I. We're going to face the madness of medicaid tomorrow.
Here are the pictures:
This is a new machine that I can't remember the name of it. It looks like ET to me. Anyways it provides a pretty accurate measure of her oxygen levels and carbon dioxide levels. This prevents them from having to prick her leg every few hours for the blood gas line.
All snuggled up before we turned on the lights for her hands on time.
A close up of Savannah with the Sipap mask.
Her little (but long) foot :)
A cord free face. The nurse allowed me to take this REALLY quickly and then it was back to the mask. The special tape on her face protects her from the Sipap mask.

Look at that precious face! Lots of love to you all!
