Savannah- a day with daddy and mommy

Kevin and I were both off today for Veteran's day so that allowed us to both go visit her together while Baby Kevin spent time with Oma and Granddaddy. I also made time for a night time visit while Grandma and Auntie put Baby Kevin to bed at our house.

Savannah is stable. She is now 2lbs 7oz. She is still on the Sipap and is breathing 80% room air. Her feeds are up to 3cc every 3 hours. She continues to handle her feeds well- no residuals. I got to hold her today for a little over an hour. I went back tonight to bathe her but her nurse said she wasn't up for a bath. She thought a bath would stress her out so of course we do what is best for Savannah. I'm sad though because I have yet to bathe her...maybe Friday night will be the night.

Please continue to pray for her to remain infection free, pray for her overall development and that she will continue to thrive as they attempt to increase her feeds and decrease her oxygen support.

Here are some pictures from today.

Just stretching my leg out.
Eyes open- wide awake after a diaper change
Night night- holding her dolly
Afternoon hands on- after her head massage. The nurse let us take a quick picture without the oxygen support.
Snuggling with mommy
Our first picture with Savannah, Daddy and Mommy...not a great picture of me, but oh well.
Baby Kevin would like you to know that he knows not ONE but THIRTY FIVE words! He's taking off with his vocabulary. :)
Smiles for the camera
