Savannah- Missing Her

I miss her SO much!! I have not seen her since Sunday night. It's been so hard. Baby Kevin and Daddy Kevin were sick on monday and then today I got sick too so we've had to do what is best for Savannah. Unfortunately, that means not seeing her. I'm praying to be a 100% better by tomorrow. I feel better but I'm still not a 100%.

Savannah now weighs 5lbs 3.7oz. She lost 12 grams of weight from yesterday. She has been progressing well which helps me feel a little better about not being able to see her. She is now up 42 mls of milk- which is fed every 3 hours. She was still having problems with reflux so yesterday they started mixing the milk with Simply Thick which makes the milk a nectar consistency. Her reflux has been so bad that she has had milk up her nose :( However since switching her to the Simply Thick, she appears to be doing better. No more milk up her nose- so that is definitely a good thing! She made another huge step in the oxygen weaning process; She is also down to 1/5 liter of oxygen and is at 21% which is room air. They also switched her to a prescription strength diaper cream because her bottom was not getting better. The nurses said the cream seems to be helping.

The nurses are taking pictures for me with a disposable camera that I left at her bedside. I wish it were a digital camera with immediate upload so I could see them today. Maybe tomorrow if she has one of the nurses that I know better, I'll see if they can email or text me a picture.

Baby N is schedule to go home on SUNDAY!! this is great news!! Please pray that he remains on track and goes home by Sunday.

Savannah's BFF is doing better. She got to try non-nutritive sucking with her mommy today so that was a great step forward.

Please pray for our family to be healthy again so we can be reunited with Savannah. Please pray for her to continue to progress forward. She does still have some congestion so pray for that as well. Thank you for praying for our nicu crew.
