Savannah is doing great. She is 3lbs 9ozs now. She is still at 28 mls of milk fed over a 45minute period. She was reduced from 2.5 to 2 liters of oxygen on the cannula. The feeding tube was moved to her nose in order to free up her mouth so she can begin to learn how eat on her own. She has graduated from practice nursing to the real deal! She did not eat that much and had to be fed all of her feed via the feeding tube, but that is to be expected. This is a long process so I've learned to celebrate each and every step forward.
Daddy came by with me for the visit today. However Daddy is avoiding the camera :) and holding of Savannah. I'll catch him sooner or later.
Thank you for continuing to pray for our little girl, Savannah and her friend.
Here are the pictures from today. I'm off to try and get some sleep while Baby Kevin is spending the night with his oma.
The feeding tube (the orange one) in it's new location.
Attempting to eat - the real deal!
Savannah is trying to get rid of the feeding tube. Here she is shortly after pulling it out. I agree I want it gone but you're not ready sweetie.
