Savannah is 8 weeks old today! They moved her to another location again. She is now in bed 7. She is gained 4 grams- still puts her around 4lbs 5.7oz. She is at 34 mls of milk every 3 hours. She did not do well with her attempt at breastfeeding during the day, but it may be because of her eye exam. She made up for the day by excelling tonight. Tonight she finished the entire bottle! The eye exam did not show anything to be concerned about. She gets another one in 2 weeks to ensure that her eyes are continuing to develop. She remains at 2.5 liters on the nasal cannula.
We're missing our friends at our new location, but we're excited because our friends are doing well. Baby N is on track to go home soon. Savannah's best friend is off the vent and doing better. Her mom got to hold her today after a week of not being able too.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Savannah and her friends. Please pray for Savannah to be strong enough to be weaned off the oxygen support and for her to continue to progress forward with her feeds. Pray for her friend to also improve with her breathing and to continue to tolerate her feedings. Thanks again!

Yay! Grandma is enjoying a quick hold with Savannah. Oma should be able to hold her tomorrow for the first time!

Daddy came in today and wanted to know why the nurses had put her in this way too big sleeper. I had to tell him that I was the one who had dressed her. It's the smallest size available. I'm sure that she'll fill it out soon.
