Savannah is 7 weeks old today. In honor of her week-anniversary the Aunties made Oreo fudge bars for the nurses. Savannah decided to celebrate by attempting to be a big girl. They are trying to transition her from the isolette to an open crib. This transition is done by slowly turning off the heat in the isolette and seeing if she can maintain her body temperature- so far she doing well with that part of the process. I don't have her weight yet. She is now at 30mls- 1oz of milk every 3 hours. She is continuing to have problems with reflux. It appears to be getting worse :( She looked very miserable today when she having the reflux issues. The doctor will access her tomorrow morning so we'll see what she thinks. oh yeah she is wearing a hospital provided shirt today so the fashion show should begin soon.
I'm super exhausted so I'm keeping this short and will check it for typos tomorrow.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Savannah and her best friend. Her friend is still sedated and the doctors are still searching for a resolution to her complications with feedings so keep that in your prayers.
