A disposable camera is in place at her crib so all the nurses can take pictures of the wardrobe changes seeing I can't be at the nicu very much. She is going through outfits quickly because of spit up. That's ok. I don't mind that laundry.
Savannah is now 4lbs 5.7ozs. She is up to 34 mls every 3 hours. She is 16 1/2 inches tall. Her head circumference is 32cm. She is attempting to eat without the feeding tube 2x in a 24 period. Monday night she finished the whole bottle- all 34 mls for the first time ever!! Monday she also breastfed for 30 mins. She did amazingly well. Today she did only 4 minutes before she had some issues. We're sorting it out, but she is definitely improving!
Thank you continuing to pray for Savannah. Please for her upcoming eye exam (it was supposed to be today but got rescheduled)- that she will have good results and that it she will tolerate the eye exam. Also pray for her breathing to improve and her feedings. Praise for Savannah's best friend- she is off the vent!!! and has begun feeding again. Praise for Baby N- he should be going home by the new year- maybe even Christmas. Please keep these babies in your prayers.
A side note: Baby Kevin knows that the hospital means mommy. My mom brought him to me yesterday and he said "mama" the minute she got in the parking lot. My little man is so smart. Little does he know that the hospital means mommy AND little sister :) I know he's going to love her. Yes I know Savannah has taken over the blog. I'll try and do better with Baby Kevin updates as well.
