Savannah hits 7lbs

Savannah is now 7lbs 17.5 inches tall. She is doing great except for her reflux. Her reflux has not gotten better. We're still working to find a dosage that works. She is now on two reflux meds. It's hard to hear her cry because there isn't much I can do to help her other than hold her upright. She is sleeping a little better at night thanks to the tucker sling. A fellow preemie mom shipped me hers and I'm so appreciative because they aren't cheap.

Baby Kevin is still adjusting. He is says "uh oh" every time she spits up. He wants to carry her. But he does get upset sometimes when I'm holding her and he wants to be held. Overall I would say it's going fairly well.

This week, I bathed the two kids at the same time. It actually worked out better than I thought. I kept Savannah in her wrap while I scrubbed down Baby Kevin. Then I filled the tub so he could play in the water. While he played, I bathed Savannah in her little tub and then got her dressed. Then I got Kevin out. I was impressed with myself :) Only mishap was Baby Kevin sprinkled the floor because I wasn't fast enough with the diaper.

Savannah's BFF is breathing on her own today!!!! So very excited for her and her family. Please continue to pray for her as she works towards coming home. Also pray for Savannah's reflux to subside and for my sanity as I juggle all the dr appointments and paperwork. I'm so grateful for Grandma and Oma who have been coming over during the day for a few hours so I can run errands, make phone calls or nap.

Well here are some pictures.

It's my turn for a bath.
Still not sure about holding sister
In the bouncer, sleeping away while I feed Baby Kevin
A flashback to Baby Kevin when He was Savannah's age. He was just a little bigger :)
