Savannah needs hair bows and a brush per the nurses. :) She got a bath last night so she had some crazy bed hair today. Her hair is getting long and is starting to curl. She got hairbows/headbands for Christmas so I plan to take some up to the nicu tomorrow. Her newest neighbor- Baby K- invited to me to her baby shower. Another new nicu friend. I loved Baby K's space today- her mommy decorated it with tinkerbell. It's pretty cute.
The results from her xray and echo are still pending. Praying we'll get the results back tomorrow. She is still breathing fast periodically throughout the day. No major changes today. She is still at 42 mls every 3 hours. The milk is fortified to make it 30 calories and it is mixed with simply thick. She weighs 5lbs 7oz- so she gained 2 ozs.
Baby Kevin Story: I awoke around 230am this morning to hear music through the baby monitor. I thought that was odd so I checked the screen and realized that I could not see him. I got up to check on him and he was on his tricycle and had an airplane toy in his hand. He was busy playing- having a really good time. lol! I picked him up and put him back to bed. He seemed confused and wondered why I wouldn't let him play, but he didn't fight it. He went back to sleep fairly quickly. Normally he will come find us or cry to let us know that he woke up. He's never done the early morning playtime before. I guess it's all the cool toys that he got for Christmas.
Anyways, thank you for continuing to pray for Savannah and her friends. Here are today's pictures.
