I just got home from the hospital. It was a roller coaster ride of ups and downs this weekend. Thank you everyone for your prayers, texts and phone calls. Here is our current status. It's just so much easier to update the blog than to make multiple phone calls. I do really APPRECIATE everyone who has come alongside with prayers. I can't stress that enough.
I'm at home on bed rest. I'll report to my doctors 2x a week or return to L&D if I get any red flags. The current concerns are that my platelets are dropping and I have some protein showing up. My platelets were 141,000 on Saturday, 135,000 on monday and 118,000 today. Platelets below 90,000 will be cause for delivery. My blood pressure is ok but it is still high for me. I do have enlarged pulmonary arteries and some chest pressure/pain. The chest pain is gone. The chest pressure is much better than this weekend but still is not completely absent. They did an EKG,Echo and CT scan and can't diagnose the chest pain. The good signs are that the swelling of my feet and hands has gone done some. I'm headache free. I can breathe and talk at the same time.
Current Status for Savannah:
I did get the steroid shots. This will help speed up the growth of her lungs in the event that she does come early. She is measuring small. Currently at 2lbs 1oz which puts her in the 10% percentile for her size. She does have great blood flow and is continuing to grow and is VERY active so that's all good. The doctors are more concerned about my health. Savannah is showing to be in good stable condition.
Obviously I'm praying and thanking God for each additional day. They thought they'd have to do the c-section on monday so I'm very grateful to still be pregnant. It was definitely quite a scare!
Prayer Requests:
- For my platelets to stabilize and stop dropping
- For my blood pressure to stabilize
- For Daddy Kevin and Baby Kevin as they'll have to do a lot without my help. ( I do have family and friends that will helping the Kevins as well while I'm stuck on bed) Daddy Kevin is such an amazing husband and I'm so blessed to have him. He has been so supportive. :)
- For peace. It's easy to let stress and let the worries take over.
- For Savannah to continue to grow
- For good discernment, that I'll know when I need to return to hospital
Thank you once again. I can't stress that enough! I have some new pics of Savannah. I'll post them once Kevin scans them for me.

For sure one day at a time.
