They all say to start a blog because it makes for easy updates and serves as an online journal. So my bloggin attempt begins! :-) Hopefully I'll have it looking nice.
Well Baby Kevin is expected to be home by Tuesday evening. We spent today doing a CPR class, getting the baby monitor, tidying the house, bathing Baby Kevin and just enjoying our son. I walked past the the Family Room (the room where the family spends their last night before discharge from the NICU). I usually looked at Family Room with sadness because it seemed it would be forever before it would be our turn. Today I looked at the room with anticipation and excitement. Like wow! Our turn is coming soon.
I am SOOOOO excited about bringing him home. I have gone from asking the nurses questions about NICU procedures to asking "so what if that happens at home?". It's so amazing our little man will be at home soon. We're so ready for him. He is such a good baby...so content and happy. He's been through a lot. I am SO proud of him already.
I am so happy to hear that he will be home soon.. I am so proud of him and both of his parents for all that you have been through.. you are all Gods special children and he will continue to help you through this journey of life.... I can't wait to get up there to be able to hold that little angel in my arms.. can't wait to hug you too :-) little sis.. miss ya.. love ya
