We ventured outside of the house. Lol we did not go to far- just a walk around the neighborhood. He was bundled and "hidden" in the stroller. I made a point to avoid passing anyone. I didn't want anyone to try and touch him. I know I am super protective, but I have no desire to go back to the NICU! Anyways he slept through the stoller ride. I love the stroller by the way- It's pretty heavy duty and seemed to block all the wind out (Thanks commercial department! :-) )He also got loved on by Aunt Vicky and Cousin Olivia. Last time they saw him he was very small and in the beginning on his NICU journey.
I got a call today from the developmental clinic. Good news- I do not have to go anywhere for the assessement. They send a team of different specialists to the our home. The assessment takes about 2 hours. They will then determine how often they need to see him and how "delayed" he is. They will give us certain things so we can help him with his progress. I am sure he will "catch up" in no time so I am not worried. I am just glad he is home.
He's home. What a blessing.
