3rd Edition: Six on Sunday

This weekend was a lot of first our kiddos. They had a busy week- full of fun.

1. We went to Seaworld for the first time. Some of their cousins and friends joined us. Kevin loved the Bay of Play splash park! He loved the Elmo show and seeing all the marine life. In the coral reef area, he was sooo excited to see the sharks. The only mishap of the day was when I turned my back on them to help with arranging the kids' lunch. I turned back around to see Kevin pouring his water bottle all over the floor while his friend, Leana told him "NO kevin, no that is naughty" Leana and Kevin make a great pair because for lunch he ate all the chicken nuggets and she ate all the macaroni and cheese. Savannah handled the weather very well. She slept through most of the day. The heat didn't seem to phase her much. We were there from open til 7pm. It was a fun day. Definitely looking forward to going back.

2. Today we went to Mr. Ghatti's with his other cousins, Dre, Yazzy and Hannah. The cool thing about this age is that he doesn't care if the machines are paid for or not. lol he was happy just to push buttons and watch the lights go off. His favorite of the day was some game that required you to bomp the hammerheads with this mallet. He thought it was hilarious. He wasn't too thrilled about the carousel or the flying airplane ride but over all he had a great time.

3. Kevin is so aware of his sister now. He heard Savannah crying and came to find me "Nana cryin'. Mommy Savannah cryin" He was so distraught. He is already protective of her. He always says g'night to her and always finds her in the morning to say "hi"...this can cause problems sometimes because he wants to wake her up so he can tell her good morning.

4. I try avoid to putthing them side by side in the car. On friday, I had too because we were carpooling. I'm glad I did because kevin took advantage of having Savannah next to him. He starting making faces and talking to her. She responded by laughing at him. It was so cute!!

5. Kevin loves it when he gets dropped off at my job towards the end of my work day. He is so comfortable. He remembers all the fun places. Recently, he took off while I was rounding up my stuff to leave. I thought he had headed downstairs...wrong! He had headed towards LaLa's office because she has a fridge stocked with goodies. lol he was pulling on the fridge and saying "more please" Btw: Lala was surprised because she offered him chocolate milk, jello, cookies or grapes and he picked grapes. Yep he LOVES grapes!

6. Savannah can sit up without support for longer periods of time now. She loves her toes! and is full of smiles. She recently had a small date with her bff, Paisynn. She got pretty vocal. It seemed like she wanted to talk to Paisynn. It was so cute. Yeah I need to post the video for this.
