The Holiday Season is coming!! Whhoooohoooo. I love the holidays! It’s one of the things I love about Daddy Kevin. He shares my love for Christmas. There is a little damper because of the “lockdown” status, but I am still really excited about celebrating his first Thanksgiving and Christmas! I already bought him an outfit for Thanksgiving. It says “Baby 1st Thanksgiving”. Lol YES they do sell them (at Wal-mart) so I had to buy it right? Aunt Jonetta beat me and bought the First Christmas bibs, burp cloth and a onesie that says “ Why ask Santa when I have grandma?”
We’re scheduled to take our first Christmas family photo on November 21st. I am so excited. I have been researching photos to find some cute ideas though I am sure Faith doesn’t need any help being creative. I still have to buy his Christmas photo outfit but I’m looking forward to it. We’ve been SO blessed that I rarely have to go shopping for clothes for him. We still have lots of clothes from the shower. Connie and Mary then blessed us with some lightly used clothes, shoes and jackets. By the way: he officially has more shoes than me! and now that I think of it- probably has more clothes than me too. I have a great problem now- I’m too small for most of clothes.
My sister Lisa, Gordon and DQ are coming in from Barbados. My little sister Melody (yes she is still my little sister!) and Esperanza should be here in December for a few days. It is definitely something to look forward too. I wish Barry and Sara could join us but maybe next year. Louise, Kevin’s sister, still needs to make a trip to Texas. Well hopefully sooner than later, Baby Kevin will meet all of his aunts and uncles. I love that we have a large family.
Baby Kevin is doing great. He is now wearing some 3 to 6 months clothes! Although a lot of the 0-3 months still fit as well. He was 24 inches and 15lbs 10oz at his last weigh in (Oct. 30). He is rolling (stomach to back) much better but he still has a side preference. He is working on rolling back to stomach. He just needs to figure out how to get his upper body around- his arm gets stuck. He is smiling a LOT but reserves his laugh for rare occasions. We did start the reflux meds but I’m not sure if they are helping. I guess that’s it for now. Here are some pictures…
I had to share some of Esperanza- Baby Kevin' s cousin. Isn't she adorable? lol already hitting up daddy for some money for some retail therapy. :)

Nice choice of pics. "Not with that look"... Ha, wait till he figures out that it works.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you all soon.
My grands- the JOY of my life!! Love you guys.
