1. Savannah turned 10 months on Saturday. She celebrated her 10 month birthday by graduating to stage 2 baby foods and yogurt melts. She loved the yogurt melts. She bit down on them and slowly sucked at it. Esperanza and Kevin were also excited about the return of yogurt melts. They loved them when they were babies. :) Savannah ate the most that she ever had- she had TWO whole jars of baby food in one setting and she loved it!
2. Kevin's new phrase for this week. "I like it. I like it" I'm not sure where he picked this up but he loves to say it. We went for Chinese. I asked him if he liked his chicken. "hmmmm yum. I like it. I like it"- in his sing song voice :) When I was feeding Savannah today, she was attacking the spoon. Kevin said "Nannah likes it. She likes it. she likes it.
3. Savannah may be weaning herself. She is so much more interested in food now. She is not amused when others eat around her and she doesn't get to participate. We sat her at the table while Esperanza and Kevin ate their lasagna so we could take a picture. She was disappointed when she learned that she was not getting any. It was just a photo opp. 
4. Kevin has been pulling the flour and sugar out of the pantry almost every day asking to cook...so today we made sugar cookies. We used the cookie press that I got as a wedding present that we had never even opened. Kevin loves the cookie press. He called it a "cookie gun". 
5. Kevin is back into rice cereal. It some thing that Savannah eats so now he wants back in on it. He says "I hungry. I eat. I want Nannah's food" as he points to the box. "I cook" as he helps me stir in the milk. "Microwave" and then he counts down from 10 as it cooks. "READY!!!" he annouces as the microwave ends. "I sit at table. I eat. I eat" then you'll hear "yum....yum" as he eats. He finishes with " I put in sink. I wash hand. Paper towel" he then dumps the bowl in the sink and waits for me to help him wash his hands.

Today, Savannah had her first experience in the swings at the playground. She was not too sure about it at first but she warmed up to the idea. She started to smile and relaxed into the swing.

I'm 10 months old today!! Look at me eating 2 jars of baby food. Yummy Bananas, pears and apple and then green beans!
