March for Babies- Kick off luncheon

was a success. Kevin surprised me by taking over the speech. He grabbed the mic and wanted to talk. He then started playing peekaboo. He had the audience (around 300 people) laughing. I was somewhat distracted because I was worried he might run off the stage (about a 5ft drop) but he didn't. I got some good reviews despite my personal opinion :) Baby Kevin and I are scheduled to do 2 more speeches/appearances for some of the National sponsors. My only regret I didn't publicize the event to my family. We filled 3 spots and they had reserved a table reserved for us. The table sat 9. I just felt bad asking them to come out for a 5 minute presentation.

Savannah is doing great! She is got her 4 month shots on friday. She weighs 9lbs and is 19.75 inches tall. She is still wearing newborn clothes. She is sleeping for 4-6 hour stretches at night so that is helping with my return to work. She is smiling now! Yes a true responsive smile. :) It's the best thing ever. She gets so animated. I love it! She had a great weekend. She got to meet Uncle John and Aunt Cheryl.

Baby Kevin is doing great with potty training. He wore his first pull-up on Friday at grandma's house. He is also getting more independent with feeding himself. He is doing a whole lot better with bed time. He rarely tries to get out of the bed at night as long as he has his lamb and teddy bear. He has grown up so much in just a month. Words you can't say around him unless they are at hand- pizza, blue's clues, elmo, outside and bath.

In other news, Savannah's BFF is doing so much better! She had her first bottle feed today. She is off all IV fluids and rounding the corner towards home so please continue to pray for her.
