Happy Birthday Kevin!

Very eventful day so far. Happy Birthday Kevin! Mom and Dad love you very much! You are such a blessing in our lives. We are proud to be your parents.

He spent the morning at Oma's while I went to work, visited with Madison (cousin) and her Oma, Christine, visited all his girlfriends at the NICU and L&D from his NICU days, saw PaPa and now we're home.

He currently has 2 teeth and is working on 3 more. He is taking baby steps so we'll be walking soon. Well I have to spend time with the birthday boy so I'll cut this short.

Here are the pictures we have so far.

First picture of the day. He was still waking up. I had to take a picture before I went to work. It's 5:30am in the morning.

Look who came to see me! And she brought me a present. It's Madison!
Cousin play time with the mirror. Madison would like to remind everyone that she too will be one soon!
Hey Maddy, thanks for coming over. Welcome to my Oma's house.
Maybe if I keep my eyes closed, they'll stop taking pictures. It is too early for all of this excitement...
Who am I kidding? It's me. It's my day! Hey Oma let the party begin :)

You do know that you have a silly looking hat on your head, right?
What is this about? You can't cage me on my birthday!

It's about time I got out. I have to practice walking so I'll be ready for the March for Babies. I love this banner my Oma put up. Everything in my reach is fair game.

I stopped near our house yesterday for a quick unscheduled photo shoot in the bluebonnets. He just wanted to eat the flowers and refused to look at the camera. Here are the best shots out of 15!

Yes that nice "chair" is the floor mat from the car. Remember, it was a quickie photo shoot.
hmm flowers. Can I pick some for my girlfriend? (NO Kevin, no girls until you are much MUCH older)

Kevin is really fussy sometimes in his carseat but this Sunday we found the solution during our road trip to Corpus. Ta da...drum roll please- A STRAW!! That's right- A STRAW...lol he was entertained for a good while with this one. So now I have backup straws in my car in case of car seat meltdowns.

Taken from the Corpus trip. Mr. Jamal (his godfather) I really want some snow cone please!

The famous snow cones from Sno-balls in Corpus. They are the best!! You're missing out if you haven't tried one yet. :)

More pictures to come...I still need to upload the pics from our NICU trip.
