Ok so this title might be a little misleading. We did not celebrate new year's. The kevin's actually slept right through all the fireworks and celebration, but he is baby so I did not plan on keeping him up or waking him up at midnight anyways. We did just all snuggle up our couch and watch TV. Baby Kevin snuggled up in the covers next to daddy and I.
Baby Kevin is progressing well hence the title. He can sit up by himself. He is doing his own combination of crawling and army crawling. He is not full blown crawling but he manages to get around. The PT commented that it looks like he doing a swim stoke because he moves both arms forward at the same time while his legs are in overdrive. He can also move forwards now. For while he would go backwards and end up really frustrated. He learned today during physical therapy to transition from sitting to crawling. Before he would just topple over once he got tried of sitting up. His left shoulder range is improving!
He is getting into solids. So far he loves pears, peaches, bananas, apples, carrots, squash, apricots, sweet potatoes and oatmeal. He does not like green beans. He would not even swallow the first bite!
I'm also meeting my new year's resolution. We got together with Hunter, Ashton, Austin and their mommies. I don't have any pics because I forgot my camera, but I'll post some when I get them. Another play date is scheduled for February.

I love my Aunt Cheryl. My cute outfit is a Christmas present from Nic and Ale. They know how to make sure I'm styling.
I can't find my toys so I'll just suck on my fingers. Is that ok with you? (Thank you Connie for my vest. I'm glad that I get to see you outside of the NICU)
