Kevin: " April 21st!! It is my happy birthday!
Savannah: "that...that.."
Kevin: " surprise! It is my happy birthday. Surprise" ::he begins clapping::
Savannah begins clapping.
Kevin "Thank you! Thank you! Happy birthday"
2. Savannah is fearless! We went with friends to feed ducks this past week. The ducks were on eye level with Savannah but she didn't back down. She thoroughly enjoyed feeding them crackers. So far she seems to really enjoy animals.
3. Kevin and his love of cooking continues. I just recently organized all Savannah's drawers. I walked into Savannah's room to find Kevin singing. He said "I'm making a recipe. I'm cooking mommy" then I realize he is holding a mixing spoon and stirring up everything in bottom drawer. My first thought was ooohhhh nooo!! KEVIN I just folded all those clothes, but he was so cheerful and excited to show me his recipe. who am I to hinder his imagination??
4. Savannah is very observative and mimics those around her. She is very focused! Today I was feeding nann bread. She kept saying "that..that" I didn't know what she was asking. Thankfully her godmother figured it out! She wanted to dip her bread in the oil like the rest of us. She was so thrilled to try it out.
5. Kevin refuses sleep in. The latest he ll sleep in 6am. He wakes me up asking for cereal. "mommy time to get up! Where we going today?"
6. Savannah is very independent. She likes to feed herself. She isn't talking much yet but she finds way to get her point across (remember number four). She explores all around her..including coloring her whole face with chalk.
These kids make me smile everyday!0
