2. Kevin knows his fast food restuarants just a little too well. This is recent conversation on the way home.
Kevin: " Mommy I hungry. I want eat"
Me: "we'll eat home."
Kevin: " I hungry. I eat pizza" (while pointing at Peter Piper Pizza)
Me: " No baby. We'll eat at home"
Kevin: " I eat taco. taco please. I eat bean cheese taco" ( as we pass taco cabana)
Me: "No KG. just wait. We'll eat at home"
Kevin: " I don't like wait. I eat. I hungry. I eat chicken nugget. chicken nugget. please mommy" ( we pass whataburger)
Me: " Not today. Wait"
Kevin: " I eat hotdog. I eat nanna" ( as we pass Sonic)
Me: " Read your book. we're almost home"
Kevin: " I read book. I want chicken nuggets. chicken nuggets. chicken nuggets please!" ( as we pass Mcdonald's)
So we pass too many restaurants on the way. I couldn't help but me impressed with his knowledge and ability to express vocally what he wants.
3. Savannah had her first taste of formula this week. I struggled with this because Kevin never had formula. However ::gasp:: my MONSTER freezer supply is almost gone. I even donated over 500 ozs to a milk bank. Returning to work with sporadic pumping breaks caused problems. Anyways she'll still be nursing on the weekends and at night as well getting one bottle of milk during the day. So she'll get about bottles of formula. I know it's not the end of the world and she'll just be fine. Thankfully, her taste buds and tummy tolerated the change.
4. I babysat this friday night and Kevin enjoyed it! It meant Leana ( a few months older) would be spending part of the night. They both copy each other a lot. Together they ate their dinner, cleaned up their toys, excitely helped me setup the air mattress, brushed their teeth, read bed time stories and said bed time prayers together. The next morning Kevin woke up saying " Where's Leana?? Leana missing" He was not happened that her parents picked her up in the middle of the night. Below is a picture of them brushing their teeth together. I told them one at a time because I was concerned they both might not fit on the step stool, but they made it work.

5. Savannah will now select toys that she wants from the toy box. She can't pull them out herself, but she gets her point across. Kevin is quick to fish out the toy for her and hand it over. So cute to watch them communicate. It'll be excited to see how things go once Savannah can talk.

WAY TO GO, Momma. YOU ROCK!!
