Born at 30 weeks 5 days because mommy had HELLP syndrome.
He was on the ventilator for 1 day. The CPAP for 3 days and then graduated to the cannula. Was on the cannula for 8 days. Spent a week at room air and then went back to cannula for another 9 days. Was then graduated to back to room air. Minor setbacks included a UTI, 3 attempts in an open crib before he was able to stabilize his own body temp and went back on the cannula once. He spent a total of 53 days in the NICU.
